NATIONAL PARK KRKA AND TOWN ŠIBENIK-IN KINGDOM OF GREENERY
Krka has become 7th and the youngest Croatian National park in year 1985. It spreads on 111 km and is on river Krka which flows in Adriatic sea. Thanks to different flora (860 species and subspecies) and fauna (18 types of fish,222 types of birds), Krka is considered one of the most important natural places in Europe. After the walk along the paths and wooden bridges of park you can take a swim on water falls.
In park area you will have a chance to see mill,hand washing board and machine for fabric cultivation. River Krka is famous as the most unusual river since it flows through rocky parts of Croatia. Between Roški fall and Skradinski Buk on island Visovac there is Franciscan monastery with famous library. After Krka we go to Šibenik-town museum.
Town Šibenik is famous for cathedral of St.Jakov from time of Renaissance. The cathedral is on UNESCO’s list of historical heritage along with few churches and palaces. We will walk through beautiful streets of Šibenik and visit mentioned cathedral and Orthodox church.
